GrafcetMaker lets you draw GRAFCET charts (IEC 60848), check them and run them in a simulator, right in your browser. These pages take you from your first chart to the advanced features.
New to GrafcetMaker?
- Open an example from the start screen (Help › Start screen and examples) and press F5 to watch it run.
- Take the ten-step tour (Help › Take the tour) to learn where everything is.
- Getting started: draw, check and simulate a small tank-filling chart in about ten minutes. Start here.
- GRAFCET basics: steps, transitions, receptivities, actions and the five rules that make a grafcet evolve. Read this if GRAFCET itself is new to you.
Guides
- Writing receptivities: AND, OR, NOT, rising ↑ and falling ↓ edges, timers, comparisons and step variables.
- Actions: continuous, conditional, stored on activation, deactivation or an event, and forcing orders.
- Editing diagrams: the keyboard and mouse moves that make drawing fast, branches, loops and automatic layout.
- Variables: inputs, outputs and internal variables, and exchanging them with Excel.
- Simulation: run a grafcet, change inputs, follow timers, read the chronogram and replay scenarios.
- Macro-steps, enclosing steps and forcing: structure large applications.
- Files, saving and export: autosave, files, PDF, images and spreadsheets.
